All You Need to Know about Breast Enlargement Surgery

However, they are not as durable as silicone implants and can feel a little less natural to the touch.

What does the procedure entail?

The first step is to consult the surgeon and find the right size, firmness and shape for you, depending on a number of factors like the initial size and shape of your breast, the type of skin you have and your overall body type. During the consultation you will be shown pictures and told what to expect. The procedure itself lasts around an hour and a half, and is performed under general anaesthesia. It involves a small incision, on the edge of the areola or the armpit, after which the implant is positioned.
